What's being caught at the moment?

Anything being caught there at the moment? Want to know if it's worth bringing my tackle (fishing tackle that is :lol:

) at the end of the month.

now i am new to this sea fishing as a coarse angler i know what i am doing i think lol

but last august i bought myself a sea rod n reel my mate set me a basic rig up and off i went to the north end of shell with everyone else but all i caught was wind burn ha ha

will the fishing be any good in April and what should i be fishing for and with

all advice will help and stop the missus taking the p*** ha ha

I had the boat out this Sunday at shell island and it was hard work. We tried on sand, reaf and wreck and only managed to find Dabs. But it's good to be out and at em again :happy:

Well we tried again!! This week we tried by the first lot of pots, we put large mackrel baits out for the Huss and prawn & muscels out for dab. We never had a tap all morning not even a crab, but hey that's fishing :bang:

Fished on the reef this Saturday (10th April) had a few dog fish. :happy:

Went on the reef on Saturday 24 April. Had plenty of dogs but nothing else. The water was crystal clear and as flat as I've ever seen it, you could see everything on the reef. The large jelly fish are back and the dolphins were around. Nice night to be out

Hi Steve. Not very big, only about pound to a pound and a half. But still good to be out there catching again :lol:

Saturday 15 May we had the first Black Bream of the season!!! Summer must be here

Also lots of dab,dogs and had a Bull Huss
